The church projector changed how congregations follow Scripture in a room. Smartphones create another opportunity: helping people follow Scripture when they are not in that room.
The projector is built for the congregation in front of you
A projector gives everyone in the sanctuary one visual reference. It is familiar, simple and useful for the physical service.
Phones extend the congregation
Members do not always sit in the sanctuary. They may be watching online, recovering at home, travelling for work or living in another country. Their phone can become their personal Scripture display.
One Scripture, two places
The strongest model is not necessarily projector versus phone. A church can share the same passage on the church screen and with members' phones at the same time.
Why this is different from another Bible app
A normal Bible app gives a member access to the Bible. Holy Bible King adds the church's live Scripture context: the passage being taught by the pastor at that moment.
The goal
The goal is simple: keep the church's Scripture experience together, even when the congregation is not physically together.
